Cathy Barter, Vice President, Private
Banking, Key Bank. Over 22 years with Key Bank now covering Midcoast and
Central Maine areas. Currently serving as Chair of the Brunswick Downtown
Association (BDA) for the past 6 years. Ex-officio board member of the Southern
Midcoast Maine Chamber of Commerce, past president of the Boothbay Harbor Region
Chamber of Commerce. Valerie Campbell, Vice President, Atlantic Regional Federal Credit Union. Local banker for past 25 years having been employed by Gardiner Savings and Coastal Bank (now Norway Savings). Past involvement in such community organizations as the Friends of the Curtis Memorial Library, Board of the Vocational Region Ten School Cooperative Board, Brunswick Rotary and many more.
Theodore Crooker, Treasurer, Harry C. Crooker & Sons, Inc. Owner/ Partner with brother, Frank Crooker since 1973. A general contractor firm of 70 years specializing in earthwork and paving, as well as a major aggregate producer and supplier. Currently serving as President of Maine Asphalt Paving Association. Board of Directors member for the Construction Services self-insured workers' compensation trust. Past services include Board of Director of the Poland Springs Health Institute, Parkview Hospital, Topsham Development Inc., Pine Tree Academy and Associated Contractors of Maine.
Mathew H. Eddy, Brunswick Director of Economic Development. Served in the planning and community development field for over 25 years. Municipal projects include downtown revitalization, community development, housing rehabilitation, economic development, and the development of downtown business and cultural association. Participated in comprehensive planning projects and in individual master plan projects as planning/development director in Brunswick, Bath, and Westbrook.
John S. Eldridge, Brunswick Finance Director.
Rol Fessenden, Senior Vice-President, Supply Chain Management, LL Bean. Responsible for L. L. Bean's Brunswick Manufacturing operation as well as corporate inventory planning & control, vendor selection, product quality control, technical design, and product testing. A former member of the Brunswick Planning Board and a 30-year resident of Brunswick.
John G. Gerard, President, Gerard Commercial Properties. Extensive background in business and real estate development. Served as an economic development specialist in six Maine counties, President and CEO of the area’s regional chamber of commerce, and past Economic Development Director for the Town of Brunswick. Founding Director and current Board member of the Maine Commercial Association of Realtors (MCAR), Director of the Brunswick Downtown Association (BDA), serving as Chairman of the BDA Community Affairs Committee and current Director of the Brunswick Industrial Development Corporation.

Principal/Owner Howard Properties and Lexington Partners. Over 35 years in
real estate development and business investments. Formerly on the Board of
Directors, Senior VP and General Manager, L.L. Bean, responsible for
international catalog and retail business development, U.S. and international
operations, manufacturing and global sourcing. Past service on many
international, national, state and local industry and community boards. Joanne King, Chairwoman of the Brunswick Town Council. A Maine native who moved to Brunswick in 1980. A graduate of St. Mary's School of Nursing and worked as a Registered Nurse at Parkview Hospital in Brunswick for twenty years. Currently the business manager for Brunswick Taxi, a local business owned with husband Dale King. A mother of five children who has served on the Brunswick Town Council elected at-large since 2003 and as Chair since November 2005.
Forrest Lowe. Owner of a business consulting practice specializing in non-profit organizations and small businesses. Previously worked as a manager at L.L. Bean for 25 years in Finance Management, focusing on procurement and operations. A former Brunswick Town Council member for eight years who currently serves on the Brunswick Local Redevelopment Authority, the Maine Street Station Committee and a number of non-profit boards in the Midcoast area. Lived in Brunswick 26 years.
William D. Morrell, Vice President, Real Estate and Building Products, Downeast Energy/Downeast Building Supply. Member Brunswick Comprehensive Plan Update Committee. Regularly involved with commercial and residential real estate projects. Responsible for building materials operations at Downeast Building Supply.
Douglas Niven, President and Publisher of the Times Record. Raised in Brunswick and graduated from Brunswick High School. A member of Brunswick Rotary, Midcoast Health Services Board of Directors, New England Newspaper Association Board of Governors and past member of numerous nonprofit Boards in the Midcoast region.
Mike Ouellet, President & Owner of Ouellet Associates, Inc. Over 35 years in the commercial construction industry with projects throughout the State of Maine. The construction management firm specializes in commercial, institutional, and medical work. Ouellet Associates most recently completed the new Brunswick Fire Station at Cooks Corner.
William A. Torrey, Senior Vice President for Planning and Administration & Chief Development Officer, Bowdoin College. A member of the Bowdoin staff since 1988 and a senior officer since 1991. Responsible for the College's development program, public affairs and communications, institutional planning and college relations with the local community. Community service has included Chair of the Board for the Mid Coast Maine United Way, Chair of the Bath School Board; membership on the Brunswick Maine Street Station Planning and Implementation Committees and serving on the boards of Mid Coast Hospital, the Portland Stage Company and the Maine State Music Theatre.
David C. Webb, Esq., Brunswick Town Council, elected at-large in 2006. A lawyer in Maine since 1989 representing individuals and organizations in areas of commercial, environmental and public policy matters. Owner of a dispute resolution and conflict management practice specializing in employment and international relations, education, real estate and construction disputes. Former counsel to the Maine Legislature's Natural Resources and Business and Economic Development committees. Former Board member of the Brunswick/Topsham Land Trust and Board President of Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Bath/Brunswick.
Steve Weems, Executive Investment Officer, CEI Capital Management LLC, a subsidiary of Coastal Enterprises, Inc. (CEI). Responsible for closing $125 million of business financings in low-income areas over the last three years. CEI is a national community development corporation with a mission to help create economically and environmentally healthy communities in which all people, especially those with low incomes, can reach their full potential. Extensive experience in private, public, and non-profit sectors including senior positions in small business ownership, consulting, commercial banking, corporate acquisitions, large-scale project development, venture capital, economic development, development finance and environmental protection. A past Town Councilor in Brunswick and current Director of the Brunswick Industrial Development Corporation.
